I wanted to post my Cherry Coconut Lime Ch Ch Ch Chia Fresca recipe for you enjoyment.

CHIA colors     This replaces the traditional fresca recipe that has a ton of sugar in it – use this as an afternoon energizing refreshment(instead of the dreaded soda) or as a sports drink (in place of the sugar laden/ chemically added sports drinks)

The coconut water has tons of electrolytes, natural sugars from cherry juice (plus has recovery benefits) and the chia seeds – well are just fantastic! Full of omega 3 fatty acids & complete vegan protein – more on chia benefits later. Enjoy!

5 oz coconut water
5 oz cherry juice
6 oz water
2 Tbsp lime
5 Tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp honey powder or small amount of stevia to taste

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a container and let sit for at least ½ hour. Chia seeds will absorb the water and become gelatinous. Shake when ready to drink. Enjoy!
Makes 16 oz.

You can most definitely use different juices and switch the coconut water for filtered water.
